A text-zone showing cross-reference ties to Bible text?

I am wondering if there is a way to show cross-reference texts and the cross-reference is tied to another text zone?

For example, if I use HCSB notes ties to NRSV text and I would like to have another text zone in different bible version ties to the cross-reference showing all the cross-reference in HCSB notes, would it be possible to do this?

You should be able to tie any text that is indexed by verse number (Bible text, Cross References, Commentaries, Translators' Notes, Study Bibles, etc) together and have them sync'd on the text to which they are tied.

In this way, there is no reason you can't use the NRSV text in one workspace with the HCSB notes tied to it while using a different Bible version in another zone that is tied to cross-references from a different version.

Simply open the resources you'd like to use and use the "Tie Tabs" drop-down menu accordingly.

Jarcher, thanks for your reply. I tried to simplify the question.

If I would like to have a text zone showing the text references in HCBS notes for example in Gen 1:1 and the notes of HCBS shows like below,

a 1:1 Ps 90:2; 102:12; Is 40:21; Jn 1:1-3; Eph 3:21

b 1:1 Or created the universe

c 1:1 Neh 9:6; Is 40:12-14; 43:7; Jr 10:12-16; Am 4:13; Rm 1:25; 1Co 11:9; Col 1:16; Rv 4:11

and I would like to have a text zone showing all the bible verses above, is this possible?

When I tried to tie the Bible text with HCBS notes, it didn't show Ps 90:2; 102:12 ...etc. but only Gen 1:1.

Do I need to set anything to show it or not?

I do not think you can do exactly what you are asking however you can do the following:

If you want to list the references then you can drag across the references you want and it will open the list in a separate zone. Make sure you start dragging within the first reference you are interested in and stop at the last. You can only do this for contiguous references, so that in your example you could drag across the references in (a) (psa 90:2 through Eph 3:21)  It will probably mimic all the panes in the first zone, you can then remove the panes you do not want leaving just the verse list. Make sure the recycle triangle is set to blue.

Then you can select another set of verses and it will update your verse list to the new set. That means that you could then drag across the verses in © and they would appear in your verse list.

The bible it chooses will be the one you have set in preferences under the 'Tool Display' options.
