Hide modules in Easy Install Window that don't want to install yet?

I would humbly suggest that there might be a way in the easy install window to intentionally hide some modules that a person like me would like to NOT install - but still have available at a future date for installation if needed.
My situation:
as an Accordance user since 1994, (still have my 2.0 installation diskettes!) I've bought various modules along the way - before the online record system got put in place.  Recently during an upgrade which finally required all my modules to get listed, the helpful Accordance staff figured out the appropriate current packages that would best represent my own collection of modules.  In that process, I was "given" the Abridged BDB as part of one of the packages - even though I already owned the unabridged BDB from the past.
Always one to try to not clutter my hard drive with unneeded files, I have resisted installing the Abridged version - but it shows up every month as part of the list of modules in the Easy Install window - and I have to carefully avoid it every month.

When I inquired about this, it was recommended that I go ahead and install it just to get it out of my window.  I've reluctantly done that.  So back to my feature request:
that there be a way in the easy install window to intentionally hide some modules that a person like me would like to NOT install - but still have available at a future date for installation if needed.

Thanks!  - Jerry Platz

Hi Jerry,

Your request makes a lot of sense. I have the same issue with commentaries that have had updated modules, and I get constantly prompted to download the original modules alongside the newer ones.

Users want a one-click solution. I've commented that "check for updates" always checks for updates after you have downloaded updates. It does this automatically without asking. But you have to tell it to check for updates manually the first time! There should be a "set it and forget it" option that covers all eventualities, a bit like the Mac OS X update options. e.g check and download din the background, notify or not notify, etc.

Yes. I think I've suggested this before.

There are also some bible versions I know that I will never need for my entire life. I would like to hide them as well.
