Spencer Elliott Posted November 10, 2017 Share Posted November 10, 2017 I am doing some work in the LXX and I want to see if the phrase "דבר יהוה" differs in the Gk in OT parallel passages. I want to see whether logos or rhēma is used in contextually identical situations. Is there anyway that I can link a search from my Hebrew Bible module to the OT parallel module? Λύχνις Δαν Posted November 10, 2017 Share Posted November 10, 2017 The best way is likely with the MT-LXX module but without that you could also just run two tabs side by side and search in the Hebrew and then examine the passage in the Greek. You could run it as a HMT-W4 with LXX in parallel pane or with a [CONTENTS <HMTtabname>] in the search box of the LXX tab. Looks like Gen 15:4 even uses voice of the Lord in the Greek. Interesting question. I am not sure why you would use the OT Parallel module. It is more for finding related/parallel passages in the OT rather than trying to parallel up the OLs.
