This might already be possible, I'm just not sure how to do it if it is. 

 

Can we hide the chapters and verses when we're reading a Bible? To make it almost like a reader's Bible. I would love that feature, specifically on iPad.

This is not currently possible on the iPad/iPhone, but you can do it on the desktop.  Just go to your Text Settings -> Advanced -> References Format -> Omit Book and Chapter or Omit Entire Reference.

On iGadgets you can change the reference font color to the same as the background. Not what you wish but invisible for the eyes.
