jakejake
Can I create topic notes? Are the only notes I can create verse notes? For example: I want to create a note for a subject/topic "covenants". I want to create my own notes on the topic. I also want to include scripture references. Thanks. Fabian
If you are interested in a User Lexicon, then unfortunately not yet. But hopefully later. https://www.accordancebible.com/forums/topic/16132-user-lexicon/?hl=lexicon&do=findComment&comment=109561 Greetings Fabian
Joel Brown
Jake, if you take those Topical notes within a User Tool, it can be easily organized, searchable, and supports scripture (and other) links. Theres lots of information about them in the help: http://accordancefiles2.com/helpfiles/OSX12/Default.htm#topics/05_dd/user_tools.htm
jakejake
The File\User Files\New User Tool is grayed out. There is no toolbar for User Tools. Also, there's no right click functionality under My Tools to create a new User Tool. Edited December 29, 2017 by jakejake
ukfraser
JakeJake I may be missing what you are trying to do from the other responses but that sounds like the sort of thing I would do in stacks or possibly papers, create a stack called covenant and add multiple texts and references from my different tools including lexicons and scripture texts and atlases. This is the stacks podcast https://www.accordancebible.com/resources/multimedia/details/?id=157179 Please look at this paper podcast and see if it helps https://www.accordancebible.com/resources/multimedia/details/?id=157565 Hopefully one of these may be what you are looking for, i never got on with notes as I tend to work with passages or lectionary groups, but stacks is great for what I was trying to do. Joel Brown
If User Tools are grayed out, you are likely running Accordance Lite. I'm not sure of any better solution within the limits of Lite, but if you upgrade to the full version of Accordance (any of our base packages), that will enable User Tools and much more. Here's a list of the differences limitations of Lite: https://www.accordancebible.com/Lite-Limitations/
