Chapter separation?

Is there a feature to separate the chapters of a Bible?

Also, what about the Bibles that have also have subject headings?

In-text references at each verse are the closest there are to chapter separations.

Bible subject / paragraph headings are currently not supported as the philosophy of Accordance has been to avoid obscuring the text as much as reasonably possible (a philosophy most of us are on-board with). However, this issue has long been debated and most likely these will be eventually added with the ability to turn them on or off. At least.. that's my impression based off frequent conversions on these forums.

Though the headings included in printed copies appear to be in the associated notes with the text so visible in a parallel pane and searchable. (And you can use outlines so headings are consistent irrespective of the translation).

@jakejake, I don't know what you are looking for with the chapter separation exactly, but if it's just a visual cue as you read along, you could do a search for :

 [FIELD BEGIN] <WITHIN 1 Words>*

with Scope set to Chapter.

That will highlight the first word in each chapter in your highlight colour.

You could also set the Text Display to Paragraphs with Space which will put a break at most chapter begins (perhaps all) as they pretty much all begin a paragraph. I guess the option you may want though it Chapters with Space which does not exist, but could be requested as a new feature if you do indeed want that.

Thx
