bpkantor
I am wondering if there is a way to search the Göttingen apparatus according to source. For example, Aquila is marked by α' that also seems to be linked (it is blue and underlined and clickable). Obviously I can't search just for "α". Is there any way I can isolate all the readings of Aquila by doing a search in a particular apparatus for that link?
Timothy Jenney
You can indeed search for all references to Aquila. Switch to the Manuscripts data field and search for α´. I had trouble finding the correct [prime] accent, so had to use the Character window. The correct keystroke (on my Mac) is shift-opt-' . For some reason, when I type it I get a different character (Æ), but when I select it in the character palette, it enters into the Search Entry box correctly. Enjoy! Abram K-J
If you wanted to go further and search other manuscripts, you can right/secondary click in the search entry area (once search field is set to Manuscripts) and select Enter Word... to see a list of possible searches for that field.
