I’m signed in, I even signed out and back in but the problem remains. When I click the button it returns ‘no new content found’, even when there is.

It's working for me. Maybe restart the browser, clear the cookies?

There are options in the Settings Accordance to Clear the Download cache, among others. I would reset all of those.

I’m using Safari to access the mobile version of the forum. When I tap the 4 squares at the top and tap the new content button I used to get a list of new posts, but for the last couple of weeks it hasn’t worked. I get a message ‘sorry, no new content found’ every time, even when there is.

Oh sorry, I lost the original meaning of the post. I tested on my iPhone and it's working for me in iOS10. I have checked your account and it looks fine.
Can anyone on iOS11 confirm this?

If you go to "New Content", what are your preferences? You have then 3 options, "By Type" "By Time" "More". If you have set e.g. on "More" -> "Just items I follow" and you haven't set a content to follow, then its clear you get no hits. The same on the desktop. Does on the desktop the item show as no read? Or do you have there a different result if you push the button "New Content". This should be the same. If this is not the same then something is strange.

Nice. I didn't even realize there was a "View New Content" setting. I had always wished there was an option to go higher than 10 in the recent topics setting. But there it was all along in front of me!
