How to get Android Starter Collection

Recommended Posts

I just installed the 1.0 version on my tablet.  The announcement says there is a free Android Started Collection to be had.  From the web pages, it's unclear how one installs this.  The only guidance I find is to create an account.  Since I already have an account, I used that one to sign in from the mobile app.  But Easy Install from within the app doesn't list anything with "Android" or "mobile" in the title.  The only download link I can find is for the app itself.

Mobile starters usually are a bunch of public domain works and the seven strongs if you already own the starter collection I think you have all the free android items.

Right, these free modules are the same as with the free iOS app. You can install most modules from your account in your Android app.

I'm a Windows/Android user, so I'm not sure what you mean about the free iOS app.  On Android, do I use Easy Install?  If so, what should I choose?

If you are brand new to Accordance, register (open an account), so you have a user name and password. You can do this in Library>Settings>Accordance Account, if you ignored the initial opportunity to register. Once you have an account, click the download button and select what resources you want from the list.

Since you know about Easy Install, I'm going to guess you already have an account. In that case, you just enter your current information, then proceed as described.

I guess I'm not being clear.  My main account is on a Windows machine, and I have an account associated with that.  I guess I can add any of those items to a new install, within the limits of the Android version.

In the blog post about the 1.0 version of Android, there is mention of a free Android Starter Collection.  How do I install this collection from within the Android app?

If you have a current version of Accordance 12 in Windows, you probably have all these titles. If you go to Easy Install in the Android app and put in your account information, you should see all of your content, including what's in the Android Collection, available there.

So it looks like the answer is :

"There is no separate Android Starter Collection.  Perhaps there is one if you create a brand new account and get the standard Accordance Lite starter set of titles.  If you already have an account, just download whatever you want individually."

Is that close?
