PeterY Posted February 13, 2018 Share Posted February 13, 2018 I have just installed the latest Accordance onto a new laptop - Mac OS 10.13.3. When try to sink with my Accordance files in Dropbox, I get the message: "You cannot link to Dropbox, as your Accordance files are already being managed by Dropbox manually. To enable full Dropbox support, please return your Accordance Files to their initial location. Please see the Accordance help for details." I have had no other initial location - everything is in Dropbox. Am I missing something? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Mike Garrity Posted February 13, 2018 Share Posted February 13, 2018 The default location for the Accordance Files folder is within your Documents folder (<userName> > Documents > Accordance Files). Is your Accordance Files folder still located there? If not, can you post the location? This error message shows up when Accordance does not find the Accordance Files folder in the default location and the current location of the Accordance Files folder appears to be in your local Dropbox folder. To move the Accordance Files folder: Quit Accordance Move the Accordance Files folder in the Finder Start Accordance and you will be directed to locate the Accordance Files new parent folder. Mike Garrity Posted February 14, 2018 Share Posted February 14, 2018 Hi Peter, Sorry this is taking so long to resolve. I went through the move folder sequence (above) and was able to trigger the “locate your Accordance Files” dialog. If you are sure that you no longer have the Accordance Files folder in Dropbox then I have a couple more questions: Are you now able to link to Dropbox?
