Links to Acc Text in Excel

I’m putting together some data in a spreadsheet, and I’m trying to add hyperlinks in the spreadsheet to verses of the Göttingen LXX in Accordance.

 

I can get the link to the verse into the excel cell, but when I click the hyperlink in excel, it first takes me to a page in Safari, and then I have to click again to get the “do you want to allow safari to open accordance,” and then click again to get to accordance.

 

Can I just click the link in the spreadsheet and be immediately taken to the Accordance text?

Sorry, this feature has changed and now goes through a browser except on the iOS if Accordance is installed there. I think it was necessary in order to make the links more universal.

The links might work directly with Accordance if you're using the Excel spreadsheet on your iPad Pro, Brian. If you try it, let us know how that works.

Joe Weaks and OSchrock have put a nice little apple script together.  When placed in user/library/services.  It will give you a new menu in apple services 'Accordance URL' which will bypass the browser and go straight to the link in accordance.
