sozomuse
I'm setting up a new MBP 13,3 from scratch. Accordance 12x has been downloaded to the new machine. The MBP 5,1 it's replacing opens a new window when "Sync with Dropbox" is clicked in the dropdown menu, but the window will not render the sign in screen. The new MBP opens the Sync with Dropbox window normally. I shut down the new Mac, tried opening SwD on the old Mac but got the same blank window. Restoring did not help nor did signing in to Dropbox or opening the Dropbox app on the old machine. Any ideas? sozomuse
Dropbox seems to be functioning normally. The Accordance folder is in the Dropbox Apps folder. I tried unlinking/relinking and reinstalling Dropbox without effect. The new MBP is syncing fine and Dropbox web is operating normally.
Silas Marrs
What version of MacOS is running on the machine where this is not working? We're trying to fix the issue, but we've been unable to make it occur on the machines we use for development. The workaround, if you have the latest version of Accordance (12.2.4) installed, is to hold Command+Shift when selecting "sync with dropbox" from the menu. This will force the dropbox link to open in a new window.
sozomuse
The blank window problem is on a MacBook Pro 5,1 El Capitan 10.11.6 with Accordance 12.2.4. The Shift + Command opens a new browser window to sync Accordance with Dropbox. However it was not responsive. Thanks for that tip. Just earlier today I realized Dropbox was installed on the new MacBook Pro 13,3 High Sierra 10.13.3 with Accordance 12.2.4 using a different email address for the account name. The different email address was unlinked for Dropbox and the original email address was relinked. Now, both machines refuse to open Accordance. At least I'm consistent. The good news is all local and cloud Dropbox Accordance files seem to be all present and accounted for. Before I start tossing user Accordance preferences perhaps some knowledgeable advice would be helpful. FWIW the new Mac is getting a clean install - no Migration Assistant this time around.
