Clint Cozier
I see screen shots from various users where the icon denoting a user note attached to a verse is a small red dot rather than the notepad that I have. I don't see a toggle to make that change in the Preferences panel. I've found instructions from several years back about replacing a particular png file in the applicaiton package to get my desired result, but I'm hoping for a solution that doesn't mean I get to make the same change after every upgrade. Am I missing something, or are the instructions on Macintosh Biblioblog (see here) the only way of doing this? Thanks.
Joe Weaks
To clarify, in the default setup, the small red dot indicates that this verse has a note in the notes file. It is not the same as the icon you get when you hover over a verse, which is that notes icon. The only way to change that hover-over-a-verse notes icon (which I find ridiculously cartoonish and obnoxious), is to do it yourself manually, as you have linked.
