DoosanMan
I'm having trouble finding exactly how the alternate text used in the help section or videos. For example, I see in the info pane settings where you set a primary and alternate text, but how do I view the alternate text? Thank you
R. Mansfield
When you hover over hyperlinked Bible references, it will display in Instant Details. The alternative text setting is for hyperlinks to texts that might not be in your preferred Bible. That may be references for the Apocrypha or even Pseudepigrapha, Josephus, or other texts if you interact with those a lot. Anyone with the Starter Collection can set the alternative text to the KJV Apocrypha. Some will set it to the NRSV if they have purchased it. I wasn't understanding it was exactly. I had my preferred set to KJVS and alternate to NLT. I appreciate your explanation.
Joel Brown
I believe, for most if not all situations, if you hold shift you get the alternate text. I could be remembering the hot key incorrectly though!
Michael Hunt
It's the Command key in this situation Joel (at least on a Mac).
Joel Brown
Oops, thanks! That would then make it Control on Windows.
