Diagram Copy/Paste bug for grouped elements

Accordance 12.2.4 under MacOS 10.13.2 is not pasting correctly between Diagram workspaces when some or all elements are grouped.

 

I ran three trials for which I am attaching screen shots. First, the original diagram in workspace A had two groups and a lot of ungrouped elements. The diagramming symbols of the groups were shifted to the far left when pasted into Workspace B.

 

Second, I fully ungrouped the diagram in Workspace A. It pasted with no problems into Workspace B.

 

Thirdly, I re-grouped one of the groups, copied and pasted into Workspace B and into Pages. The copy into Workspace B shifted the symbols in a different way than previously. The copy in Pages was an image and looked fine. 

 

The problem also happens when going from Workspace B to A. In addition, I restored the original groups in Workspace A and found the symbols still shifted, but not in the same way as before.
