kpang808
This happens quite frequently when I use the Research search area and when I click on a resource result. Not always but about 60-70% of the time. I posted some crash logs below. Fabian
Maybe it would be helpful if you copy-paster your search query here in the forum to check it out. Edited March 31, 2018 by Fabian
Michael Hunt
Have you tried rebuikding the research cachebin preferences? Don't know that it will solve the problem but worth a try.
Silas Marrs
Thank you for the report! From the crash report, it looks like this is only happening when you mouse over a verse reference in the research window with instant details open. Does that match up with what you're seeing?
kpang808
Yes, actually that is the perfect explanation.
kpang808
What is the solution to fix it?
Silas Marrs
I have so far been unable to reproduce the crash, so I don't have a good answer on how to fix it yet. Rebuilding the research cache as Michael suggested might help. To do that, close accordance, then restart it while holding the option key to start in safe mode, and check the option for rebuilding the research cache. If you do try that, can you let me know if it works or not? I am still trying to track down the root cause of the crash, so I can fix it for the next release, and since you're the only one it's happening to (that I know of), any information you can give is invaluable.
JonathanHuber
You can rebuild the research cache from preferences too, under Reading/Research tab, without needing to start in safe mode. I did it recently to fix some wonky research behavior. It doesn't take long.
