Accordance Locking Up

I started getting the error message: "Accordance crashed or was not quit properly the last time it was used. Would you like to recover the most recent autosaved session?" Nothing happens if I click the Cancel or Recover buttons.  Accordance was completely locked up and I had to use the Force Quit option to close it.  That kept happening so I went into the Accordance Preferences folder and deleted the Start-Up file.  It did not fix the problem.  Then I deleted the General file.

That at least enabled Accordance to open but I had to go through the Set-up Assistant. Once Accordance finally opened, I had to go through the lengthy process of setting everything up again (texts, commentaries, panes, etc.).  All was working fine until I installed the latest update.  Now the "locking up" problem has started all over again. I'd rather not have to keep going through the tedious process of starting all over again if possible.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  I'm on a 2017 MacBook Pro running High Sierra Version 10.13.4

If you have tried the options in the Safe Startup mode (option or alt key while launching Accordance), this kind of issue is best served by contacting Tech Support directly and letting them set up a screen share session with you.

Buck and I went through most of the normal troubleshooting steps (including renaming the entire Accordance Preferences folder). What finally worked was reverting his Accordance back to the 32 bit 12.0.6 version. After we had established that it was working as expected in 12.0.6, we went back to the 64 bit Accordance 12.2.4 version and it still continued to work properly. Buck will let us know if the issue returns.
