TheBard
This has baffled me for some time and is starting to be quite the bother. Say I do a word search and want to then go to a section of Scripture within the search results and start reading from there. I can scroll to the part I want to read where it is at the top, and then slide the context slider all the way over to have all the text. I then want to get rid of the searching so that the red words that were searched no longer show up. But when I do that it takes me right to Gen 1:1, but why? I'd want it to stay on the Bible text I'm currently looking at. This also happens on a number of other searches, not just in this example. Joel Brown
Clearing the search is sort of a reset. Why not just show context for that verse? Its a simple Ctrl+5 in the verse reference! You can also change your hit highlighting to not be in red if this is a regular issue, so you can just focus on the verse results.
TheBard
This helpful for addressing my issue, thanks. Maybe I need to think about utilizing multiple tabs and such for special searches too and not feel the need to only use one tab for everything. Also consider saving different workspaces for different ways you use Accordance. Eg Devotion and research and study group prep.
