DoosanMan
I'm still trying to get Stacks into my workflow, so please bear with all my questions . I placed the text of a lengthy email I received into Stacks. This email was sent to me specifically to help me with the lecture I am presenting. I copied the text and added it as a User item. However, it is not possible to to read the entire text it just shows the top portion. I can click on it and it expands all the way down, but that still does not include all the text. Is there no way to scroll through the text on a user item in Stacks? What about highlighting? I even pasted the text first into Word and highlighted a few sentences, but when I bring it into Stacks there are no highlights? Am I not catching on to the purpose of Stacks? Thank you! Paul Meiklejohn
Doosanman, I think you may have been better pasting your email into a 'Paper' where there is far greater editing options. Stacks is essentially a clipper were we can collate data from across all our modules, into one specific area. If for example, we were doing research on the 'temple' and we wanted to clip and save all the interesting bits into one file that allows us to immediately jump to those source points again and again, then stacks is what we need. On that basis it does an amazing job, and has proven to be a real time saver. As I say, try pasting your email into a 'Paper'. Paul.
