Moving tools to other categories

Here’s something for the developers to consider for upgrades. I would like to have the option to move a tool to another category. Currently I can rearrange the tool in its place in the list but not to a different category, I.e. like move Robertson’s Grammar of NT Greek from a General Tool to a Greek Tool. I like the search capability, but I have a lot of tools and sometimes I don’t remember that I have a tool. Being able to move it to a category that makes more sense to me would help.

You can move the tools however you wish. This is a newer feature and first your should check Preferences/Appearance and click the Organize all tools by Category. This updates the tools to the new system and after that you can rearrange, add new folders, whatever you want (except for Parallels).

I was excited to read this as this has been discussed and suggested before, but I can’t find the preferences/appearance option in settings. Am I looking in the wrong place? I’m running iOS version 2.6.4. Thanks Paul

Maybe this feature come if it is possible to sync the library. Currently this works only in Accordance 12.

My apologies, what I wrote applies to the desktop version os Accordance, not yet to the iOS version. I hope it will eventually come to the iOS as well.

It would be terrific to be able to reorganise my library on iOS, and that it would sync with organisation/categorisation of tools in Accordance on my desktop!
