Windows 7--Launching Accordance

I usually have to try try several times to get Accordance to launch on Windows 7.   Anyone else having this problem?  What might it be?   On my Win 10 machine it seems to open just fine?

 

Does spell check not work on Windows?  It's grayed out.

To be able to pinpoint the problem, please start Accordance in a safe mode as follows:

 

Right after double clicking the icon to start the program press Ctrl+Alt keys on your keyboard.

 

Check the following in the dialog that comes up - 

 

- Remove startup session

- Disable automatic Dropbox sync

- Disable automatic updates

 

Launch Accordance and see if you can relaunch the program normally thereafter.

 

Spell check is not currently implemented in Windows.

I appreciate your help Orly.   This didn't make any difference or improve it.   I just have to click a number of times to get it to open.   Right click and then Open doesn't work very well either.

It sounds like a virus scan program or something similar.  Which one are you using?

 

Are you using the latest Accordance 12.2.5?

 

The best next step would be to contact technical support (at  (407) 339-0266) as they’ll be better able to resolve odd issues like the one you are having.
