apologeticus
I'm currently running 9.6.8 on High Sierra. I'm interested in upgrading to 12, but I don't quite understand exactly what I have to pay for to do that and what my paid modules will look like in 12. I'm primarily concerned about my "Scholar's Premier" module.
Daniel Francis
Off the top of my head lite edition would disable Accordance atlas and timelines. I believe some higher level Greek hebtrew search functions may also be missing... Lite is generally seen as a good way to try out Accordance that said I honestly would likely have been ok just using lite as Atlas and Timeline functions are not often used by me, -dan
Joel Brown
Here's a good comparison of the limitations of the free Lite version: https://www.accordancebible.com/Lite-Limitations/
apologeticus
Thanks guys. I guess I didn't ask my question very well. What I want to understand is: does my scholar's premier content translate into version 12? Will all the same content be there? I'm willing to pay the $60 for the full version if that gives me what I want.
Joel Brown
You'll still have access to all of your Scholar's Premier texts and tools, even without paying the $60. The $60 cost of full Accordance 12 is just for features used in accessing the text, such as the number of panes open, analytics, and others. If you need those features, you'll want to upgrade, but if you don't see any capability limitations in the Lite version, you'll be completely fine using your Scholar's Premiere content within it.
