Sten-Erik Armitage
Something has happened rendering Accordance almost unusable on my Macbook. Text entry in the verse lookup box is extremely slow. e.g. I will type “John 4” and the keystrokes appear about one per second. Once the chosen text has loaded all functuality is extremely sluggish. Scrolling is delayed and in spurts, instant details don’t pop up for a second or two, etc. Any ideas? Running current iterations of both the Mac OS and Accordance. No major software or hardware changes of late. Thanks for your help, Sten-Erik

Timothy Jenney
I've had this happen in Accordance when I've had several Firefox windows open at the same time—or too many applications running. Try quitting any applications you don't need.
Sten-Erik Armitage
Please try the options when you start in safe mode with the Option key. Helen, thank you. This helped the lag issues. Although now I am having fairly frequent crashes. I'm often having to "find" missing resources, although they are in the appropriate directories. Here is the pop-up I usually receive when I select the appropriate .atool: http://www.innerstrife.me/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Screen-Shot-2018-05-20-at-05.44.52.png Here is the debug of the most recent crash while working within the Atlas (Happened earlier this morning in a text based tool as well): Accordance Crash Log 5/20/18, 05:06:53 Program Version: 12.2.4 (12.2.4) OS Version: 10.13.4 Message: Access violation Address: $0000000106D6A2CE Backtrace: 0 acord 0x0000000106d6a2ce acord + 5178062 1 acord 0x0000000106982fad acord + 1085357 2 acord 0x00000001068edb98 acord + 474008 3 acord 0x000000010698252e acord + 1082670 4 acord 0x00000001068e3aee acord + 432878 5 acord 0x0000000106fcda6d acord + 7682669 6 acord 0x00000001068ed46f acord + 472175 7 acord 0x00000001068f10ca acord + 487626 8 Foundation 0x00007fff52cc1739 __NSFireTimer + 83 9 CoreFoundation 0x00007fff50b64064 __CFRUNLOOP_IS_CALLING_OUT_TO_A_TIMER_CALLBACK_FUNCTION__ + 20 10 CoreFoundation 0x00007fff50b63cd7 __CFRunLoopDoTimer + 1095 11 CoreFoundation 0x00007fff50b637da __CFRunLoopDoTimers + 346 12 CoreFoundation 0x00007fff50b5adab __CFRunLoopRun + 2427 13 CoreFoundation 0x00007fff50b5a1a3 CFRunLoopRunSpecific + 483 14 HIToolbox 0x00007fff4fe42d96 RunCurrentEventLoopInMode + 286 15 HIToolbox 0x00007fff4fe42b06 ReceiveNextEventCommon + 613 16 HIToolbox 0x00007fff4fe42884 _BlockUntilNextEventMatchingListInModeWithFilter + 64 Binaries: 0x000000000687a000 /Applications/Accordance.app/Contents/MacOS/acord 0x0000000107597000 /Applications/Accordance.app/Contents/Frameworks/ZipArchive.framework/Versions/A/ZipArchive 0x00000001075c6000 /Applications/Accordance.app/Contents/Frameworks/Sparkle.framework/Versions/A/Sparkle 0x000000010764f000 /Applications/Accordance.app/Contents/Frameworks/ObjectiveDropboxOfficial.framework/Versions/A/ObjectiveDropboxOfficial Edited May 20, 2018 by Sten-Erik Armitage

This problem existed on a fresh reboot with no other applications or significant background tasks running.
Silas Marrs
I'm going to look into your crash, but I'd also ask that you update to 12.2.5 and see if you are still having problems with that version.
Sten-Erik Armitage
I'm going to look into your crash, but I'd also ask that you update to 12.2.5 and see if you are still having problems with that version. It's not automatically updating, or responding when I click on Check for App Update. Should I download 12.2.5 and install from scratch?
Billy32792
Hi Sten-Erik, By any chance is Google Chrome your default browser? If so, please download and run Accordance 12.2.5 from: https://www.accordancebible.com/Accordance-Installers/while using any other browser. Avast (which is built into Chrome) has been mistaking Accordance for malware on some computers recently. During the setup 'Replace' the existing version of Accordance. Check and see if this helps. If it doesn't help or if it you haven't used Chrome, it might be best if we arrange a time to screen share with you. If needed, you can download 'TeamViewer' from this link: www.teamviewer.us (it's free and fast) and send us your TeamViewer 'Your ID' and password and we can arrange a time for one of us to screen share with you to help correct this issue. Please select version 12.X under 'Versions' on the right side of the page and then select TeamViewer from the column on the left, which matches your computer. Please do not download version 13 as it will need to be removed before we can start. Please do not type 'www.teamviewer.us' into your browser, as the actual link is: https://www.teamviewer.com/en/download/previous-versions/?_ga=2.263480591.206963509.1511907632-90930051.1506090014 You can call us in support at 407-339-0266 or Skype us at: oaktreesupport. Our office hours are Monday - Friday, from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Eastern. If your call goes to voicemail, then we are helping other customers and will call you back as soon as possible. Thanks, Billy
