Bill Lueg
I can't believe I'm the first person to ask this. I couldn't find the answer anywhere. How can I copy text without formatting all the time, no matter what kind of copy option I choose. I always use English translations and I use a font that is easy to read, but when I'm copying text, I don't want the formatting to follow me, especially since I may be using a search result that has shown the resulting words in bold. My text editor does not have a paste unformatted option and I simply never want font information following me out of Accordance. I've checked the Citation preference panel in Accordance and found no joy there. Help?

Benjamin Gladd
It's a brilliant little program, and it works 99.9% of the time. I don't just use it for Accordance, too. I have all my students install this little app and the BetterSnapTool. Edited May 18, 2018 by Benjamin Gladd
Michel Gilbert
FWIW, PopClip can do it too, and so much more . . .

R. Mansfield
I use BetterSnapTool all day. Works much better than Apple’s method.
Joe Weaks
FYI, it's not necessary to have an always-running process to strip formatting from the clipboard. Can simply use an Automator Service and give it whatever global keyboard shortcut you want.
