Λύχνις Δαν
Hi ya, I am currently reading Josephus' Life and have three English translations at hand, Loeb (well when I next get a library copy, shortly I hope), Whiston (in Accordance) and Steve Mason, just arrived, from Brill. It is said that Whiston did not use the best of Greek source texts (though he may have used the best he had access to), and that the standard scholarly one is Benedictus Niese's editio maior. So I'm prompted to ask what the source text of the JOSEPH-T module in Accordance is - is it Niese ? Is it something else ? I checked the readme but it's not stated. Thx D
