I can import my plain text file to accordance.

However, the way it appears in the table of contents and in the window are weird/messy

Has any one successfully import txt file or html file as a user tool to accordance?

Any proper formatting in txt file to appear well in accordance?

Thanks.

Phil

The user tool is a good concept, but too much work involved. The Bible references have to be linked manually, they are not automatically created by the program. Only when I’m writing a Paper it creates hyperlinks to Bible verses. It’d be nice to be able to just copy and paste from a Word document and have the references automatically hyperlinked and outlined correctly.

To get some formatting in user tools then you need to import as an html file. It will automatically link correctly formatted references and you can set up headings using h1/h2/h3 in html. If you create a Word file with the headings set up then you can save that as a 'filtered html' file and then import into Accordance. The import tools does not recognise much of the html formatting so best just to stick to headings.
