Fabian Posted June 9, 2018 Share Posted June 9, 2018 Hello A friend of mine who was a BW user before he came to Accordance has grabbed again BW, because of the final sale. I was by him at home and he showed me BW, then he explained what he found great in BW and how it appears. I created for him shortly a Workspace which was similar to this feature. In my opinion it would be great if Accordance users which came from another Bible Software would create a Workspace which is as accurately as possible to their old software and share it with other users. Here and on Accordance Exchange. I think this would be a great benefit for changers on their first step with Accordance. More Inspiration you get on Accordance Webinar on Monday with Linda. Here are the somewhat equivalent resources/functions: Info Pane = Resource Pane Instant Details = Analysis Pane Workspace with parallel texts set oriented as rows = Browse pane Stats = Analysis in Accordance Use ~ no similar function without running a search Forms ~ no similar function without running a search Notes = Notes You can create a 3/4 pane workspace and somewhat simulate the workflow, however to really duplicate the BW workflow you will need to setup several workspaces and amplify to them. Below are several screenshots including the BW workspace far right; then the lexeme searches for Greek and Hebrew; then the lexicon searches for Greek and Hebrew; finally all the workspaces that would be helpful to duplicate BW functions. There are many items tied to scroll together. BW is designed to provide a lot of information in a small workspace using tabs. A double click runs a search, not a look up. The lexicons are in a pop up or floating window. This is as close as I could get, but there needs to be someone walking them through the setup and use. I guess the best way to assist a BW user moving to Accordance is to teach them how to perform similar functions in Accordance. Glad to answer any questions and provide the workspaces for upload.
