Otherwise, it toggles the icon in the toolbar (blue or grey) but does not actually affect the font as you type. Once typed, if you select the word, the key commands work. But they will not actually turn on or off these emphases as you type. Edit. With the latest update this is fixed. Edited July 5, 2018 by A.
