jryan
Is there anything in Accordance like this great collection of primary texts--Ancient Near Eastern Texts (ANET)? https://www.logos.com/product/3860/ancient-near-eastern-texts It would be very valuable to be able to link to these primary texts when do Bible background research. Michel Gilbert
Hi, ANET is a classic, older text. The Context of Scripture is newer, has more extensive coverage, was meant to replace ANET, and in the minds of many, it has. See https://www.accordancebible.com/store/details/?pid=Context%20of%20Scripture Regards, Michel
Timothy Jenney
I agree with Michel, though I'd still like to see Pritchard's works in Accordance (sentimental value, if nothing else).

Michel Gilbert
Hi Fabian, Yes. There was a request for it at https://www.accordancebible.com/forums/topic/22671-the-context-of-scripture-volume-4-supplements/?hl=%2Bcontext+%2Bof+%2Bscripture+%2Bvol It sounds like it is in the works. A.D. Riddle
There is a lot of overlap between COS and ANET, but there remain a number of texts in ANET that are not in COS. The bottom of this page lists them all: http://www.bombaxo.com/cosanet.html Besides, where they do overlap, it is nice sometimes to have both for comparison. Timothy Jenney
Yep. While we're at it, I'd love to have Pritchard's ANE in Pictures—and Goodenough's Jewish Symbols in the Greco-Roman era (the full version, with picts!)
Graham Buck
Good luck with all those image licenses, Tim… Edited July 21, 2018 by Graham Buck
Timothy Jenney
Yeah, I know, Graham. By today's standards, most of the ones in Pritchard weren't even very good images. However, the Goodenough stuff should all be under a single license.
