sfarson
Hi, I have a six year old MacPro, so decided to upgrade to a new MacPro. I've attached two screen captures. Screen 1 comes from my older MacPro. When I click on an InfoPane resource I like how it shows vertically in the middle of the screen. On my newer MacPro when I click an InfoPane resource it shows horizontally towards the lower bottom of the screen. I really like the way it shows on my older MacPro (screen 1). I've tried to find the option where I can have my new MacPro (screen 2) look like screen1, but no luck finding! Can someone show me where this option is? Thanks! Solly
Check your Preferences settings under the General category. In the lower half of the screen at the section marked other, make sure "Open parallel tools and notes in vertical orientation" is checked It is also possible to change a particular workspace pane placement with the Move Down/Move Up choice (first one) in the gear icon which performs tasks on the pane you wish to reorient. —Joseph
