A. Smith Posted September 11, 2018 Share Posted September 11, 2018 Periodically I get stuck in a dropbox syncing loop. If the app has been idle for a while I'll get the sync dialogue box telling me that accordance need to restart to complete the sync, with the options to sync or cancel. I select 'sync' and the app syncs and then gives the the dialogue again. The only way out is to restart the app. I haven't found a way to recreate the issue myself. A. Smith Posted September 13, 2018 Author Share Posted September 13, 2018 No harm. The box goes away and the loop is ended. What I don't know is if a sync has actually happened. And, because I'm beyond paranoid having lost my data via sync more than once, I will cancel to end the loop and then manually sync which works as it should.
