Quick question about references in notes

I want to add a Bible reference to my note but I want it to open and display a specific translation, like the NIV. Can I? How do I enter the reference properly?  Thanks.

To do this, you want to define your link more specifically than just a simple reference.  Use the Link button in the top right corner of your Notes Edit window to make these fancier types of links. Your two possibilities are the Resource Link type, where you can choose the module (NIV), Field (Verses), and enter the verse reference in the Search portion.  Alternatively, if you see the verse reference you desire in your NIV pane, you can always Right-click it and choose, Copy As -> Location URL, giving you a URL like this:

 

https://accordance.bible/link/read/NIV11-GKE#2Chr._27:6

 

This URL can then be placed in the Link Dialog and customized as you desire.  You can always just paste this link directly into your note as well, it will just look a bit more ugly than if you define it in the Link dialog.
