TYA
Great day all, Sometimes I want to copy and paste Hebrew words from the Tanakh (vowelized and accented text) *without* the diacritical marks. Is there a way to do this? In BibleWorks, there are both vowelized and non-vowelized versions of the text, so I can pull from the latter when I want to accomplish this goal. Thanks. accord
I believe this is one way.
TYA
Ah, very nice. Yes, it works indeed. My only request, Accordance: I do a lot of copying and pasting, and sometimes I want the vowels, and others times I don't. It would be nice if there was a faster way to toggle between the options. But if not, I'm still happy to at least have this option (see Accord's post above). Edited September 26, 2018 by TYA

miketisdell
Two questions: Did this get recently added? I asked a similar question a while ago but there was no option at that time (that I am aware of). As was asked, can you added a quicker way to toggle this i.e. maybe on the tool bar? Comment: I absolutely love the ability to strip only the cantillation! I could not do this in Bibleworks and have had to do this through word Macros. With this feature and contruct searches, I am able to provide texts for my students without the cantillation and with proper names in red [using a construct search for proper names]. I have been preparing like this for my beginning students for a while now, and this sure is a time savor.
Helen Brown
This export option has been there for at least 20 years.
kangna
Ditto on offering the Hebrew export feature with options at the moment of copying (e.g., dialog box or check box when exporting) as opposed to changing the settings each time—very time consuming when doing a lot of copying and pasting with and without vowels (or cantillation). Also, any way to export vowels only (without cantillation)? Cantillation only option is there in the settings, but not vowel only option.

This option has been in BW for as long as I can remember: Go to Options > Export Options > Remove Hebrew Accents when exporting
A.D. Riddle
1 hour ago, kangna said: Also, any way to export vowels only (without cantillation)? Cantillation only option is there in the settings, but not vowel only option. The "Cantillation only" is what is being stripped, not what is being left to export. A.D.
