My friend gave me the money to buy a gift card because she didn’t want to use her cc online, so I went ahead and purchased the $50 dollar gift card with my own cc — long story short, her gift wasn’t worth $50 it was only worth $40 because the system thinks I purchased it and I decided to use it on myself. The question is, what’s the big deal if you choose to use something on yourself? Is not like Accordance isn’t making any money. Not to mention my friend wasn’t happy at all with the results. Anyway, thanks for nothing! The website store is set up the way so that the clergy gift cards will be used as they’re intended. But it’s difficult to program for the exception as you describe above. However, all it takes is a quick phone call to our orders department to allow you to use the gift card as your friend intended.
