Many years ago, I purchased the French Segond Revisée for use in Accordance.  It's been years since I worked with it, but when I went back to it today, I (re)discovered that there is a typo/error in it's name within Accordance itself:  it is listed in the library, at the top of the text window, and at the top of the "About the Text" pane as Second Revisée (with a c instead of a g as the third letter of the first word).  Is this something that could be fixed, please?  It drives the French purist part of my brain nuts.

While we're at it, it's actually Segond révisée (with two accents). About this module, how often are the suggested corrections integrated? I've pointed out some errors in it, some going back to over a year ago, but despite the fact that several modules were recently updated, this one doesn't seem to have been part of it. When might we hope for an update?

With over 2,200 modules within the Accordance Library, we need to prioritize the task of updating our products. We try to prioritize the updates in modules based on the number of corrections and/or the severity of the issues. We try to do immediate updates to modules that have issues that limit or hinder navigation or general usage. Sometimes we find a significant number of issues that need to be dealt with. Beyond that, we simply cannot update every module every time we receive a correction report.

With that being said, each and every report is seen and sorted so that we have them available for the next time a specific module is updated. I imagine we could get an update out on this module in the next couple of days.

Thanks Julie. I fully understand that, given the number of products, not all of them can be given the same priority, especially non-English language ones, for which I imagine there is less demand than English-language texts.

I was hoping to have some information on this module because, looking at my correction reports, I saw that the first one I sent in for the Segond révisée went back to March 2017, with several others since then, and none of them was fixed in the recent slew of updates.

So, since it's the squeaky hinge that gets the oil, I thought I'd mention it. :D

Thanks for all you folks do!

The priority we place on updating our modules has nothing to do with what type of product is it (English vs. non-English, text vs. commentary vs. devotional). Simply, the products with the more serious issues get updated first as we have time.

We so very much appreciate users who take the time to submit reports so that we can keep our products as clean as possible. We couldn't do it without you! If the developer has time over the next few days, I imagine we will be able to get this updated for you.

Hi again Julie. Thanks for the further information.

While I'm at it, I've noticed over the last couple days that there seems to be some strange behavior with this module. When I open it as a search text, and then type a reference in the search box above, the verse box in the lower right-hand corner only displays chapter and verse numbers without the book name. If I then type in a further reference, the box only displays the verse number, with neither the book name nor the chapter number displaying.

This doesn't seem to be the case with other texts I try (e.g., NIV or NRSV). Can this behavior be reproduced? If so, can that be thrown into the batch for things to fix? Thanks!

That behavior doesn't sound like a module issue to me, and I am not able to reproduce it. An update, however, for SEGR has been released.

Thanks Julie, I got the update for the SEGR. Much appreciated!

Should I contact Accordance directly for the problem with the display box?

Yes, but first make sure you have the latest version of Accordance. You may also want to remove SEGR and reinstall it again (right-click on SEGR in the library and select "Remove Item". Select "Move to Trash" from the dialog box that pops up. Then select "Easy Install" from the Accordance menu and install SEGR again).
