sfarson Posted November 13, 2018 Share Posted November 13, 2018 Hey, I have two Greek lexicons (Linguistic & Exegetical Key to GNT), (Reader's GNT Lexicon) that scroll with my ESV NT text. Is there a Hebrew product that would do the same (Scrolling with my ESV OT text)? I have a number of Hebrew products in my "Hebrew Lexicons" folder (BDB, HALOT, NAS Hebrew Dictionary, TLOT, etc.) but none of them are a choice for "Add Parallel." I don't know if there is an e-text. I have made long ago a module request for this. unfortunately for you it is in the "Original" language, I mean German. Like the Linguistic and Exegetical Key is in the original a German product. I'm fairly sure if someone opened one there'd be a bunch of +1's in short order. Before it was reprinted in one volume, I had scoured Ebay and Amazon for cheap, used copies of the individual volumes of that Hebrew reader's lexicon. Made great use of them. Accordance has just released Kregel's helpful Reader's GNT lexicon. It makes me wonder if Kregel is planning on a similar lexicon for the Hebrew Bible. I can remember how I take it from the shelf and open it and take some photos. But I might I have done the request as an e-mail to the OakTree staff and not posted it here on the forums. My bad. No worries- It is a type of grammar (usually called a grammar and chrestomathy) that most are not used to. It is still a valuable tool, a good reader for those wanting to branch out from Koine and look at translation values and learn some vocabulary. Should probably be placed in "Greek Studies." It’s placed in the commentaries section because it can be run in parallel with the biblical text—like a commentary.
