Amplify Multiple References Across Paragraphs

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature request.

I'd like to be able to select across multiple references and command-click them to open the texts in a new window even when those text links appear across multiple paragraphs.

It seems to work in some instances. For example:

The third qualification is “temperate.” The word nephalios in classical Greek meant “not mixed with wine.” In later writers it came to have the broader sense of “temperate” or “sober.” One of a considerable number of words found only in the pastoral Epistles, it occurs again in v.11 and in Titus 2:2.

The fourth qualification is “self-controlled.” Sophronos (in the NT only here and in Titus 1:8; 2:2, 5) means “of sound mind.” So it carried the sense of “self-controlled” or “sober-minded.”

However, in some of my user tools I cannot select and open across this:

1 Timothy 5:17

The elders who rule well are to be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching.

1 Thessalonians 5:12

But we request of you, brethren, that you appreciate those who diligently labor among you, and have charge over you in the Lord and give you instruction.

Hebrews 13:7

Remember those who led you, who spoke the Word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith.

Hebrews 13:17
