TYA
Great day Accordance Team, If you could make (at least as an option) verse references searchable as normal text instead of being coded so that they don't mix with other text, then that would greatly enhance at least one application for search potential--e.g. trying to find English content in Tools related to, or within the proximity of a specific verse reference. Real example: last night I was trying to find commentary on the word "crucifixion" with specific regard to Yeshua's prophecy in Matthew 23:34, saying to the Jewish leaders that they would crucify his followers. Interesting: crucifixion is only a Roman method of execution. (And so the search began for explanations). As you know, many commentaries, dictionaries, and lexicons would discuss this subject by referencing the verse itself (Mat 23:34) somewhere within the proximity of the word "crucifixion." As such, either an AND or a WITHIN WORDS search would likely pick on the combination of "crucifixion" and "Mat 23:34" (or even just a smaller part of this reference). But as long as the filters (or whatever means of coding) keep various kinds of text distinct from each other, such a search would be impossible (see attached example). (P.S. The global "Any / All" search filter would also aid in such a search process, I believe). Thank you. Edited December 2, 2018 by TYA

Helen Brown
Within a specific tool you can AND or OR different fields. The Research feature was never intended to provide all the detailed searches that tools and texts offer.
