Gedalya
Will Accordance be offering the Oxford Study Bible any time soon?

Daniel Francis
There is a REB based study Bible called the Oxford Study Bible so it is possible he is inquiring about that. But much as I would like both not sure we will ever see either. -dan
ukfraser
Thanks dan, reb one is also oup from 1992 over here. Do you have a different publisher on your side of the pond? Otherwise would suspect much of the oup issues to be the same.
Daniel Francis
Nope OUP is the OSB publisher too... although it may be easier to get as I believe it is seen more in a class of Catholic Study Bible /Jewish Study Bible... A quality product but not one that has to be held at ransom. Indeed the notes are very brief in the OSB but helpful and it has some really wonderful articles. It also has the distinction of being the only study Bible I know of based on the Revised English Bible. Reading over many of the reviews in Amazon it seems to have many fans still including some claiming the note quality is superior to NOAB 3rd ed. I would not say they are better but that is my personal opinion. Like I said I would buy this if Accordance offered it but it might be one of those undiscovered gems that most people do not know about. Of course I would also love Accordance to add in the translation notes for the REB, I believe when I asked about (assuming my memory serves) it it was stated it was not a big seller and there were no plans to do it. Thankfully the REB has it's translation notes in Logos and Olivetree. -dan

Helen Brown
We have been wanting it for a very long time, but I believe that there is some progress now in the long process of licensing and development. No release date as yet.
