As it stands now whenever you are using speech then stop when you restart speech you go back to the beginning.  The only way to pick up where you left off is to re-highlite the text and start speech again thus giving it a new start point.  It would be nice to merely 'pause' the speech picking up where you left off when 'unpaused'  This would be especially helpful when reading long passages and coming to a reference verse in the passage.  You could pause the speech, read the reference verse, then start speech again where you left off.
