Web Browser improvement

Hi,

I would like to suggest that the intern web browser is enhanced to a PDF reader as well. Right now, it will display PDF documents but not scan them for Bible references.

Ideally, Acc would allow us to open local PDF documents and read them from within the "web browser"-window, converting Bible references to hot-fields. That would really be a bonus.

As a matter of fact, if possible, it would also be great if Acc could read other file formats such as Word and Excel. For the very same reason.

But PDF is on the top of the list.

Yes I suggested this as well before.

I know a free Bible Software which display the .docx files from a predefined folder in the Info Pane, if there is a verse reference in it.

(I suggested this as well before)

I know that not all PDFs actually have embedded / referable text but can just be images, and a surprising number of PDFs I get are not searchable / text-embedded.  Of course you can OCR them and add the text to the PDF.   That said, this would be stunningly awesome if I could bring in PDFs into Accordance and recognizable biblical references were magically auto-linked.   I'm thinking of all the PDFs I get from professors with numerous scripture references....  wow that would be awesome.

As an aside, that's one step closer to the holy grail of all my Kindle or Apple Books references linking to Accordance (which sadly I believe is technically unfeasible for many reasons).  I know they are lower priority in the vast number of titles out there (for good reason), but I wish more of my seminary books (and even non-seminary "popular" Christian non-fiction texts) were available within Accordance.  Being able to pull up / show biblical references to a text I'm reading would be so awesome, and would be enough for me to purchase them in Accordance rather than Amazon/Apple.  Right now, I tediously have my Kindle or iBooks app open on the left side of my iPad and Accordance on the right and copy-paste as necessary (or less often on my Mac).
