Charles Grebe
I'm using Accordance 12.3.2 on Windows. Is there a way to make keyboard shortcuts for the "Next verse" and "Next book" buttons analogous to Ctrl+UpArrow and Ctrl+Down Arrow change the verse? thx, Charles
Orly Margolis
Charles, See the help https://www.accordancebible.com/forums/topic/25688-next-chapterbook-shortcuts/regarding shortcuts. Please note that in addition to the information in that help, you could use Ctrl+Alt+Up or Down arrows to navigate to previous or next chapters. Charles Grebe
Thanks for Ctrl+Alt+Up or Down arrows, but your link seems to point back to this thread. Charles
Orly Margolis
Sorry, Here is the correct link: http://accordancefiles2.com/helpfiles/Win12/Default.htm#topics/10_ref/kb/navigating_wrkspcs_zones_tabs_panes.htm
Charles Grebe
Thanks for the link. I don't see "next/previous book" in this list though. I know it used to exist in earlier versions of Accordance because I used to use keyboard short cuts to quickly move through verse, chapter, or book. Orly Margolis
Charles, You must be talking about earlier versions on the Mac. While the Mac has 4 different modifier keys, Windows only has Ctrl, Shift and Alt. This is the reason Keyboard shortcut for next / previous book is missing. Gary Raynor
Ctrl + Alt + Up/Dn Arrow keys change the orientation of the screen they do not go to the next chapter and there seems no way to change this - frustrated that there is no option in keyboard shortcuts to change the behavior of the navigation keys apart from the 2 choices in general!
