Word counts in Instant Details

I've been teaching a class on hermeneutics for my church and trying with each lesson to give a demonstration of resources that the students can begin to use in their own study. I, of course, demonstrate with Accordance, but I have also used some free online resources as well knowing that not everyone will be ready right away to make the financial investment that Accordance represents.

But as I have been preparing to teach about original language word studies, I have been a bit surprised to see that there are some free sites that have some instant functionality that isn't available in Accordance: specifically, many sites offer instant word counts on a click for Greek lexemes/roots both for the whole NT corpus and for the particular book in view (e.g., Tyndale House's step bible.org where hovering over a verse number provides a full word count list for every Greek word in the verse by NT and book and hovering over a word gives a word count for the whole NT plus additional lexical info).

This feature also seems to be available in iOS Accordance when I press and hold on a word and am instantly given the number of times the lexeme and the exact grammatical form are used in the NT.

I've looked at my Instant Details settings but don't see an option for how to turn on any similar functionality for my OSX Accordance. Is that a possibility? While book-by-book stats would obviously be more difficult, I would think that somehow these texts are already tagged to provide instant counts.

It was first introduced in the OSX version. Hover over a word and press the Command key.

From the very first day that I got Accordance, about 5 1/2 years ago, I brought up the issue of hover (and later, hover-long press) versus Cmd/Ctrl-long press. I wish we had the option to reverse these actions on the Desktop. I would rather see the information in Cmd/Ctrl-long press when I hover-long press. It would also be consistent with the long press information displayed in iOS. Some of us still work with a book in one hand and mouse in the other.
