
Copying verses doesn’t follow preference rules

When copying verses from accordance to a document, the copy rules in preferences for accordance are not followed. See images.

I believe the preferences apply when doing a verse copy, not arbitrarily selecting text and just copying that text. If you select a series of words, as in the images, it will simply copy the characters you select.
To accomplish your goal, long press on the Psalm 3:1 reference, press the right arrow that appears three times to include Psalm 3:2-4, and choose Copy Verses.
