Ed Heckman Posted April 10, 2019 Share Posted April 10, 2019 To try to streamline my lesson prep, I've started copying text from commentaries into a User Note as I'm studying so I don't have to hunt them down later. When I do this, I'm consistently seeing 2 basic problems in the pasted text. 1. If the last character of the text is a period, that period will often (but not always) be missing from the pasted text. 2. When pasting the text the entire text will often be pasted twice, resulting in something that looks like this.When pasting the text the entire text will often be pasted twice, resulting in something that looks like this. 2b. One rare variant of #2 I saw last night occurred when I copied two paragraphs to the note. The second paragraph—and only the 2nd paragraph—was pasted twice. The first paragraph did also get pasted into the note, but it only appeared once. #1 and #2 would also sometimes occur at the same time. It did not seem to matter which reference I copied from. In case it matters, I use split screen view with the Scripture at the top and the commentary at the bottom. Feature request: It would be nice if there was a quick way to include a biographical reference with the copied text. This could either be a setting where you could enable/disable and format the reference. I did copy a couple of verses using the method of highlighting then copying about a week ago or so. One of the verses copied was duplicated.
