I am used to using Wordsearch Bible and Olive Tree. Both of those have a feature that when you do a search and the verse you want comes up you click on that result then it opens the bible chapter (chosen as your default) were the verse resides.

When I search in Accordance I cant seem to open a bible at all. I am confused as to how search works. I looked for a tutorial that might answer it but cant seem to locate anything. Any help? Thanks

I am so sorry but that didn't help me. I have a screen clip of another program - i searched then when I choose the ESV i can double click on the paragraph and it brings up the bible or if I click the reference it brings up a popup of the verse and the whole chapter.  https://1drv.ms/v/s!...r1RhdMU5yF6tirw

Hi paperglyphs,

The search as you are doing it in the video is more like a Research query in Accordance. You can do that and get a similar workflow.

If however you simply open a search tab and search for a word the hits are highlighted directly in that same tab. Your video doesn't show what you are trying in Accordance so it's hard to judge the problem exactly.

See the image for how it look in a Research tab query:

There is a simple option. You can slide the Context slider to the right to get the entire text with your hit words highlighted. Then use the arrows at the bottom of the pane to page to the next hit.

Thank you - both of those methods helped. I just need to learn the "Accordance language" better. I appreciate the help.
