drsdanderson Posted April 30, 2019 Share Posted April 30, 2019 I want to suggest changing the way modules are updated so that the program will only download changes to updated modules, instead of having to download the whole module again every time. Helen Brown Posted April 30, 2019 Share Posted April 30, 2019 Creating a "patch" to update each module from each prior version, or requiring the user to download multiple patches for one module, are both more complicated than our current system. I am sure this could be done, but there hasn't been a demand for it. jlm Posted May 3, 2019 Share Posted May 3, 2019 I think the way this worked in BibleWorks was that all the patches were against a base version, but I may be wrong about that. In any case, BibleWorks updates were in the form of patches. However, that system was developed when we were still downloading with modems over regular phone lines.
