TYA
I posted on this before, but another great example came up tonight. Please see these screenshots and explain to me how I'm supposed to know what "5Pau_Desc." means. I couldn't even figure this out by surfing the web! What I'm saying here is that this is a paucity of information in Accordance for certain modules, and while I know that more information can usually be found on the internet, this example from the "Perseus Classics" isn't showing up on an internet search. Bottom line, please include more module information in Accordance. Edited June 2, 2019 by TYA
Fabian
You complain the same like me on https://www.accordancebible.com/forums/topic/26236-perseus-classic-improvements/ No infos in the "Accordance Module Info" nor in the Perseus "Notes". The only one you get is a word that's simply not enough. The only one place I got more infos was on https://www.accordancebible.com/store/details/?pid=CLASSICS-G Includes the following: Aristotle: Metaphysics, Politics, Nicomachean Ethics. (Greek and English) Herodotus: The Histories (Greek and English) Homer: The Iliad, The Odyssey (Greek and English) Pausanias: Description of Greece (Greek and English) Plato: Apology of Socrates, Republic (Greek and English) Strabo: Geography (Greek and English) Thucydides: The Peloponnesian War (Greek and English) Xenophon: Anabasis (Greek and English) Lastly it came an update which raises the minimum to 12.3.2 but unfortunately my hope for more module infos have not come true. TYA
The only one place I got more infos was on https://www.accordan...pid=CLASSICS-G Yes, I remember reading the description on the website, and it is very helpful of you to point this out. Thank you, Fabian. But we rightly complain / request more information to be within the program itself. At the very least, the full name "Pausanias: Description of Greece (Greek and English)" should be found somewhere within the Accordance program, if not a little write-up on the module. I can think of no good reason why this shouldn't be the case. Thank you. Edited June 2, 2019 by TYA
jlm
In general, I would like modules to show more information in the info popup (or info view on mobile). The bibliographic data is available for export in RIS format, but nothing of this sort is displayed in the info popup. It is odd for a program to be able to export data it doesn't display. I realize that in some cases there's a lot of this bibliographic data (e.g., 61 volumes of a commentary), but the info could scroll like an instant details popup.
