Link(?) Related Tools

I would request that Accordance somehow link closely related modules to be a single module.

I specifically have in mind Feasting on the Word (separated into years A, B and C) and each individual PhotoGuide.

What I mean is this:

I would love to amplify from the Atlas to the PhotoGuide. So, I see a city that I don't know anything about, and amplify to see photos and info about it. Right now, I have to choose in my preferences whether to amplify to Overview or one of the specific tools. Overview works okay since it links to the others. But what if the site doesn't have an entry in Overview, but it does have an entry in one of the other modules? If there were some way to say, "I want to amplify to PhotoGuides, whichever one has an entry", that would be amazing.

Regarding Feasting on the Word, if for example, I want to search for an entry about a certain Scripture passage, I need to go to each module individually to search for which Lectionary cycle has the appropriate reading, and then navigate to that year's module and search again. I am aware that I could make a custom search group for Research, and I've used that for a work-around, but it would still seem helpful for users other than myself if there were a way to link these resources together, since I almost always would want to be searching "Feasting on the Word" for my content, rather than "Feasting on the Word, Year A."

Thank you for your consideration.

For this you have to combine the search technics of Accordance prior to 11 and the technics of 11 and 12.

I requested it for years and I showed the problem to Mark Allison and he'd argreed with me, but nothing happens. The bug is if you have the Overview anywhere in the Library of the Visual folder Accordance search only in the Overview and the modules that are below. Not the modules which are above. Unfortunately it doesn't cycle on the bottom and start on top again till the predefined item is.

The good point is, the module you don't want to search, just do it on top of the module which you have predefined.

So the solution is, and I repeat me once again, to put the Module which you have set in the Hyperlink field on TOP of the folder. This is true for every settings where you can do it.

This is also important for the dictionaries. The predefined must be always on top in the library in their section.

Here I have the Zürcher Wörterbuch post-32723-0-20016300-1559668894_thumb.png and I have it on top post-32723-0-12621300-1559668934_thumb.png

Because: It only searches (cycle) from top to bottom post-32723-0-63423300-1559669246_thumb.png post-32723-0-34087800-1559669325_thumb.png

And not post-32723-0-58471300-1559669364_thumb.png

I don't use at the moment feasting A B C even I have it, but the solution should be the same as I mentioned above.

Greetings

Fabian

[EDIT: sorry, didn't see the bit at the end that you've already done this before.]

Colin,

You could, in the short run, make a Group of the resources you want put together and then Research them.
