The Book is "Anthropology of the Old Testament" by Hans W. Wolf I think.

Thanks for your answer ukfraser, you are always so helpful.

I might ask what is the difference between the "Tree of Life" version and the "The Jewish Study Bible"? I am eyeing this but I would like more info.

The "Jewish Study Bible" is a wonderful repository of notes, commentary, introductions, essays, maps, charts, and "study" information--all for the Tanakh ("OT").  It isn't a Bible translation, but has verse-by-verse notes / commentary on many verses in the "OT," and again, quite a bit more information.

To reiterate, it isn't a Bible translation, so you would use it with existing Bible versions you have.  Also, it is made completely within a traditional Jewish framework, which means that it doesn't cover, nor accept the writings of Yeshua's followers ("NT").  This is made fairly clear in the introduction.

By way of contrast, the "Tree of Life" version is a Bible translation made by a combination of Messianic Jews and Christians, which covers both "OT" and "NT."  It does not (to my knowledge) have extensive notes or commentary, but is simply a modern translation which seeks to be sensitive to Messianic Jewish concerns, etc., like how the name of God is printed, etc.

I have the "Jewish Study Bible," and I love it and highly recommend it for anyone interested in traditional Jewish exegesis and sources.  I don't have the "Tree of Life" version, but would suggest that this would primarily serve Jews who identify as "Messianic," or Christians interested in learning that perspective.
